History

Brett Bartelson founded V.I.P. Landscaping in 2009 after completing his bachelor’s degree in business administration at Worcester State University. He is a lifelong Worcester native who attended Flagg Street Elementary School, Forest Grove Middle School and Doherty Memorial High School. Brett has over 16 years of experience in the landscaping field. V.I.P. Landscaping is a fully insured and licensed landscaping company. We carry full workman’s compensation as well as liability policies.

Brett and his staff are constantly updating their certifications and taking supplemental courses to better serve their clients. Courses and certifications that our employees have taken include; eradicating Asian Long Horn Beetles, fertilizer and pesticide application, Snow and Ice Management Association certifications, Unilock pavers certified installer contractor as well as hydraulics licensing.

We offer a wide range of services that can be tailored to your individual needs. We have two maintenance divisions, a landscape installation division, a construction division as well as a trucking division. V.I.P. Landscaping is a comprehensive company that tailors services from lawn maintenance, to trucking and building of walkways and patios.

Community Involvement

Brett is committed to giving back to the city and assisting local organizations. V.I.P. Landscaping has been an active participant in the “Walk to End Alzheimer’s” every year since 2011. V.I.P. donates time and money to the cause. We have been able to raise thousands of dollars towards the goal of one day finding a cure for Alzheimer’s disease through the generosity of our clients. During the Worcester St. Patrick’s Day parade, Brett donates at least one of his trucks and trailers to be the tow vehicle for a local organization. V.I.P. Landscaping has received the award of the Best of Worcester Landscaping 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019. We are very proud to have been recognized by the city and its residents in order to receive this award.

During the COVID-19 crisis that swept across the world, V.I.P. Landscaping joined together with other local landscaping companies for spring into action for our nurses. Together with the other landscaping companies we were able to collectively donate seventy-eight spring clean ups for deserving nurses.
